The Parables of Jesus

“The Lord is patient... not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
“People who are satisfied only with the things that money can buy are in great danger of losing the things that money cannot buy.” For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what shall a man give in return for his life? (Matthew 16:26)
Don’t allow arrogance, piety and self-righteousness to keep you out.
Luke 15:31 “His father said to him, ‘Look, dear son, you have always stayed by me, and everything I have is yours. 32 For your brother was dead and has come back to life! He was lost, but now he is found!’”
The kingdom of God is of surpassing worth—worth giving up everything to obtain. Whether someone stumbles upon it or seeks it out, once it is found, the only proper response is to value it above all else and joyfully surrender everything for it. Read: Philippians 3:7–8 and Matthew 6:33
“Then Jesus said to them, “If you can’t understand the meaning of this parable, how will you understand all the other parables?” Mark 4:13 (NLT)
Matt. 13:9 9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. (NLT: 9 Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.”)
Mark 4:13 (NLT) 13Then Jesus said to them, “If you can’t understand the meaning of this parable, how will you understand all the other parables?
