In this episode, Will and Marie discuss Matthew 5:6, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
They discuss how humans need physical food and water to survive, but also spiritual food. Job treasured God’s words more than food. You need to have a desire to be saved and to desire God’s word. You should contend earnestly for the faith. You need to initiate the desire for God, but God gives you the strength to carry it out. You should have an insatiable appetite for God, His word, ways, will, plans, and purpose.
