John 9:7 (NASB) 7 and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went away and washed, and came back seeing.
Powerful action verbs:
Go = move, work, serve;
Sent = deployed by God, commissioned;
Wash = cleansed by His Word;
See = vision, enlightenment
Go – 1 Samuel 15:22 (ESV) 22 And Samuel said,
“Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.
Sent – 2 Kings 5:10 (ESV) 10 And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored, and you shall be clean.”
Wash – Ephesians 5:26 (ESV) 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
See – Deuteronomy 28:1 – 6 (ESV) 1 “And if you faithfully obey the voice of the LORD your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today…..2 all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the LORD your God. 3 Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. 6 Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
2 Kings 6:15-18 (ESV)
16 He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
18 And when the Syrians came down against him, Elisha prayed to the LORD and said, “Please strike this people with blindness.” So he struck them with blindness in accordance with the prayer of Elisha.
