Matthew 16:15-16 (ESV)

15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

WALKING THIS OUT:

a. What we believe about Jesus will determine our eternal destiny. John 14:6- I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father except by me.

b. Most other religions recognize Jesus, but NOT as God. He must be fully God or it is not the Jesus of the Bible

Colossians 1:13 – 20 (NASB) 13For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

15 And He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.

17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him,

c. Every religion should be boiled down to what it believes about Jesus according to scripture!

Acts 4:12 (NASB) 12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

Monday Morning Moment: “The next time you’re between a rock and a hard place…. remember that Jesus is the Rock. Rock of ages!”
