Profound questions Jesus asked:
“Do you believe this, Martha?” (John 11:26 – The raising of Lazarus)
“Who touched my clothes?” (Mark 5:24 – The hemorrhaging woman)
“Would you like to get well?” (John 5:6 – The man at the pool)
“Do you believe in the Son of Man?” (John 9:35 – The man born blind)
“Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, and walk’? (Matt. 9:5 – The paralytic)
One of the purposes of Jesus’ questions: That we may know that Jesus is God and salvation is only through Jesus.
John 20:30-31 (NASB)
Therefore many other signs Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.
Acts 4:10; 12 (NASB)
10 let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ… 12 “there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”
