The Rich Fool
True life is not found in storing up earthly wealth but in being rich toward God.
- Luke 12:21 (ESV) — “So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.”
The Good Samaritan
Genuine love for God is proven through compassionate, sacrificial love for our neighbor.
- Luke 10:37 (ESV) — “And he said, ‘The one who showed him mercy.’ And Jesus said to him, ‘You go, and do likewise.’”
The Hidden Treasure & The Pearl
The kingdom of God is worth joyfully surrendering everything else in order to gain it.
- Matthew 13:44 (ESV) — “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field… he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”
The Sower
Only people who and continue in God’s Word bear lasting, fruitful spiritual lives.
- Luke 8:15 (ESV) — “As for that in the good soil… they bear fruit with patience.”
The Prodigal Son
God joyfully receives repentant sinners, revealing His abundant grace and restoring love.
- Luke 15:20 (ESV) — “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion…”
