• Moses’ meekness does not mean weakness. Meekness means strength under God’s control.

Psalm 37:11 KJV “But the meek shall inherit theearth…”

Matthew 5:5 KJV “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”

Galatians 6:1 KJV “Restore such an one in the spirit of meekness…”Moses is a living example of meekness under injury.

• “The LORD heardit”

Numbers 12:2 KJV “And the LORD heard it.”

That is one of the most frightening lines in the chapter.

Moses did not need to defend himself because God heard what was said.

Attitudes and Actions of Forgiven People

Moses displays the heart of forgiveness by:

• refusing revenge,

• refusing to celebrate judgment,

• responding to confession with prayer,

• seeking the offender’s healing,

• and desiring restoration instead of exclusion.
