Sermon on the Mount

“As we look into the Word of God, we see the Son of God and are transfigured by the Spirit of God into the glory of God.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
“As character is revealed by fruit, so faith is revealed by storms” Matthew 7:20 (ESV) Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
Obviously, there are conditions. These marvelous promises assume that those who ask are abiding in His commandments, truly desiring His will, having His priorities, thinking His thoughts, and are asking in faith and in His name.
Jesus also warned that His followers should “beware of...the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees” (Matthew 16:12). These groups operate in hypocrisy, legalism and overall skepticism of God’s Word. They distort true biblical faith.
Don’t criticize another without personally applying the same critical standards.
The road is hard because true discipleship calls for sacrifice and servant-hood.
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
Be a beacon of truth—don’t shut off your light from the rest of the world.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. (Matthew 5:6)
